AI Product Engineer — Live Traffic

You build Live Traffic end to end: a Python/FastAPI backend and a vanilla JS frontend streaming real-time visitor, unique-visitor, top-source and top-page data over WebSocket. You also expose the live view to AI agents through an API and MCP so agents can read the same numbers a visitor sees.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain the FastAPI backend that computes real-time visitors, unique visitors, top sources and top pages
• Stream live updates to a vanilla JS frontend over WebSocket with one history fetch then live push
• Keep the no-account public view fast and correct as traffic scales up and down
• Expose the live traffic data to AI agents via API and MCP
• Ship features across backend and frontend together so each surface stays in sync

What you bring

• Strong Python/FastAPI backend skills and vanilla JS frontend experience
• Hands-on experience with real-time WebSocket data delivery
• Experience exposing product data to AI agents through API and MCP
• Ability to build a feature end to end across backend and frontend
