AI Product Engineer — Feature Leaderboard
You build Feature Leaderboard end to end, from the Python and FastAPI backend that tallies feature votes to the vanilla JS frontend that renders the rankings in real time over WebSockets. You also expose the leaderboard to AI agents through a clean API and MCP surface so agents can read standings and cast votes.

What you'll do
- Build the FastAPI backend that records feature votes and computes live rankings
- Implement the vanilla JS frontend that displays standings and updates them in real time over WebSockets
- Expose the leaderboard to AI agents via a clean API and MCP surface for reading and voting
- Keep vote tallies and rankings accurate and consistent across every surface
- Ship features across backend, frontend and agent interfaces in one coherent change
What you bring
- Strong Python and FastAPI skills plus vanilla JS for the frontend
- Experience with real-time WebSocket data delivery
- Ability to design and expose APIs and MCP tools for AI-agent consumption
- Care for correctness so displayed rankings always match the underlying votes
