AI Product Designer — Backtest Leaderboard

You own the experience of Backtest Leaderboard: how a trader scans strategy backtesting rankings, drills into a single strategy, and compares performance at a glance. You design for two readers at once — a human browsing the board and an AI agent consuming the same rankings programmatically.

💰 Salary: $130,000 – $175,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Design the user flows and information hierarchy that make the ranked results readable and comparable at a glance
• Craft mobile layouts so the leaderboard stays legible and sortable on small screens
• Define empty, loading and error states for strategies with thin or missing backtest data
• Shape how an AI agent and a human each request, read and act on the same rankings
• Prototype and iterate on ranking views, filters and per-strategy detail screens

What you bring

• Strong sense of information hierarchy for dense, numeric ranking data
• Fluency in responsive and mobile-first layout for real-time data views
• Experience designing states beyond the happy path, including empty and error cases
• Ability to design flows that serve both human and automated consumers of the same data
