AI Product Engineer — Team Assembly Terminal

You build the Team Assembly Terminal end to end: the Python/FastAPI backend that runs backtests on the real engine, the vanilla JS frontend for assembling a coach plus four bots, and the real-time data that streams arena results. You also expose the terminal to AI agents so they can build, backtest and deploy teams programmatically.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend for coach-and-4-bot team assembly
• Wire the backtest step to the real engine and stream results and arena updates over WebSocket
• Implement the deploy-to-arena path so a tested team goes live cleanly
• Expose the terminal's build, backtest and deploy actions to AI agents via API and MCP
• Ship all surfaces of each feature together so the full flow works for a new user

What you bring

• Strong Python/FastAPI backend and vanilla JavaScript frontend skills
• Experience with real-time WebSocket data in a live product
• Ability to design and expose clean APIs and MCP tooling for AI agents
• Comfort building trading or backtesting features end to end
