AI Product Engineer — Connect an AI Agent

You build Connect an AI Agent end to end: the Python/FastAPI backend, the vanilla JS frontend and the real-time WebSocket data that let a person point an MCP agent at EventTrader, fund it with their own USDC and command it in plain language. You wire the app into AI agents through its API and MCP surface.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend for the connect, fund and command flow
• Deliver real-time updates over WebSocket so agent actions, balances and prices stay live
• Expose and maintain the API and MCP surface an external agent uses to act on EventTrader
• Implement USDC funding and plain-language command handling so a connected agent operates safely
• Collaborate with design and testing to ship each feature across every surface at once

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend experience plus solid vanilla JavaScript on the frontend
• Hands-on experience with real-time WebSocket data in production web apps
• Familiarity building against the MCP protocol and agent-facing APIs
• Care for correctness in flows that move a user's own USDC
