AI Product Engineer — AI Due Diligence

You build AI Due Diligence end to end, from the Python and FastAPI backend that generates reports to the vanilla JS frontend that renders them, with real-time WebSocket updates as a report is produced. You also expose the app to AI agents through API and MCP so an agent can point it at a company and get a report back.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build report-generation features across a FastAPI backend and a vanilla JavaScript frontend
• Stream report progress and results to the browser over real-time WebSocket connections
• Expose report generation to AI agents via clean API and MCP interfaces
• Handle failure, retry and partial-result paths so a report run degrades gracefully
• Ship features across backend, frontend and agent surfaces together so each capability is fully usable

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend experience building real, user-facing features
• Proficiency with vanilla JavaScript frontends and real-time WebSocket data
• Experience exposing functionality to AI agents through API and MCP
• Ability to own a feature end to end across backend, frontend and agent integration
