AI Product Engineer — Markets
You build the features of Markets, the prediction-market event-trading app, end to end — from the Python/FastAPI backend through the vanilla-JS frontend with real-time WebSocket data. You also expose the market surface to AI agents so they can read events and place trades programmatically.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK
What you'll do
- Build event-trading features end to end across backend, frontend, and real-time data
- Implement FastAPI services that price, place, and settle prediction trades
- Deliver a vanilla-JS frontend driven by live WebSocket updates for prices and orders
- Wire the app into AI agents via clean API and tool interfaces for automated trading
- Ensure displayed numbers stay accurate, verified, and consistent across every surface
What you bring
- Strong Python/FastAPI backend skills and hands-on vanilla-JS frontend work
- Experience with real-time WebSocket data in trading or live-updating apps
- Ability to design APIs and tool interfaces that AI agents can call reliably
- Care for correctness and fail-closed handling on money-related paths
