AI Product Engineer — Composer

You build Composer features end to end: the Python and FastAPI backend that scores risk answers and assembles suitability-checked draft baskets, and the vanilla JavaScript frontend that runs the questionnaire and renders the theme portfolio. You keep basket data live over WebSockets and expose Composer to AI agents through its API and MCP interface.

What you'll do

• Build the FastAPI backend that turns risk answers into suitability-checked draft baskets
• Build the vanilla JavaScript frontend for the questionnaire and theme-portfolio views
• Stream live basket and price data to the client over WebSockets rather than polling
• Expose Composer to AI agents via clean API and MCP endpoints with clear errors
• Wire the suitability check into the flow so unsuitable baskets never reach the user

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills for data-driven, real-time services
• Proficiency with vanilla JavaScript frontends and WebSocket-based live data
• Experience exposing product features to AI agents through API and MCP integrations
