You build MacroMarket end to end: the Python and FastAPI backend that turns a theme into a Tuatara-weighted basket, backtests it and runs paper trades, and the vanilla JS frontend with real-time WebSocket updates. You also expose the app to AI agents through its API and connector interface.

What you'll do

• Build backend endpoints that translate a theme into a weighted basket and run backtests and paper trades
• Implement the vanilla JS frontend with real-time WebSocket updates for baskets and performance
• Expose MacroMarket to AI agents via API and connector interfaces with clear, actionable errors
• Ensure basket weights, backtest math and paper-trade results are correct, consistent and reproducible

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend experience
• Proficiency with vanilla JavaScript and real-time WebSocket data
• Experience wiring apps to AI agents through APIs or connector interfaces
• Care for numerical correctness in financial calculations and index math
