QA Engineer / Tester — MacroMarket

You test MacroMarket end to end on the live site as a brand-new user would: describe a theme, generate a Tuatara-weighted basket, backtest it, and paper-trade it. You reconcile every number the app shows against an independent source of truth and turn each defect into a reproducible report plus a regression test.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Run full theme-to-basket-to-backtest-to-paper-trade flows on the live site with no insider setup or shortcuts
• Reconcile every weight, backtest return and paper-trade P&L against an outside reference and flag any drift
• Verify empty, loading and error states, plus mobile layouts, behave correctly across themes
• File each defect with exact steps, inputs and expected-versus-actual, and add a regression test that fails on the bug

What you bring

• Hands-on experience testing financial or data-heavy web apps as a real end user
• Rigor in cross-checking displayed numbers against independent sources before trusting them
• Ability to write clear reproducible bug reports and automated regression tests
• Comfort validating real-time data, charts and basket math for correctness
