AI Product Engineer — Top Movers

You build Top Movers end to end: the backend that computes the biggest gainers and losers across the asset universe over daily, weekly and monthly windows, and the frontend that renders them live. You wire the movers data into AI agents through an API and MCP so agents can query the same live rankings.

What you'll do

• Build the backend that ranks gainers and losers across the asset universe for each time window
• Stream live updates to the frontend so rankings, prices and percent changes refresh in real time
• Build the frontend list and time-window switching in vanilla JavaScript
• Expose the movers data through an API and MCP for AI-agent access
• Ensure the computed movers stay correct and consistent as underlying prices change

What you bring

• Python and FastAPI backend development for real-time data
• Vanilla JavaScript frontend and real-time WebSocket data delivery
• Experience exposing data to AI agents via API and MCP
• Comfort computing rankings and percentage changes over multiple time windows accurately
