QA Engineer / Tester — Asset Universe

You test Asset Universe end to end on the live site exactly as a first-time visitor would, browsing the global ontology and paper-trading vehicles with the simulated balance. You reconcile every figure the app shows against an independent outside source and turn each discrepancy into a reproducible defect report with a regression test.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Walk the full new-user flow on the live site: find a vehicle, open it, place and track a paper trade
• Reconcile every displayed price, quantity and balance against an independent outside source of truth
• Write reproducible defect reports with exact steps, expected vs actual, and evidence
• Convert each confirmed defect into an automated regression test that guards against recurrence
• Cover stocks, crypto and ETFs across the ontology so no asset class is left untested

What you bring

• Hands-on end-to-end testing of live web apps as a real user, not just unit-level checks
• Rigor in reconciling numbers against external references and spotting off-by-one or stale data
• Skill writing clear, reproducible bug reports and durable automated regression tests
• Comfort validating real-time data that updates while you watch a page
