AI Product Engineer — Market Alerts
You build Market Alerts end to end: the backend that watches any pair and evaluates price, spread, 24h move and Tuatara heat conditions, and the frontend where users set non-expiring alerts. You wire delivery across in-app, push and webhook, and expose alert creation to AI agents so NEXUS can set alerts on a user's behalf.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK
What you'll do
- Build the Python/FastAPI backend that evaluates each alert condition and triggers non-expiring alerts
- Build the vanilla JS frontend for creating and managing alerts with real-time WebSocket data
- Implement in-app, push and webhook delivery so a fired alert reaches the user reliably and once
- Expose alert creation and management to AI agents via API and MCP so NEXUS can set alerts
- Ensure displayed prices, spreads, moves and Tuatara heat update live and stay accurate
What you bring
- Strong Python/FastAPI backend skills and vanilla JS frontend experience
- Experience with real-time WebSocket data pipelines for market data
- Ability to design and ship APIs and MCP tools that AI agents consume
- Care for correctness in condition evaluation and idempotent, multi-channel delivery
