QA Engineer / Tester — Market Alerts

You test Market Alerts end to end on the live site exactly as a brand-new user would, creating alerts on any pair for price, spread, 24h move and Tuatara heat, then confirming they fire and arrive. You reconcile every number the app shows against an outside source of truth and turn each defect into a reproducible report and a regression test.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Walk the full flow as a new user: pick a pair, set each alert type, and verify it triggers at the right condition
• Confirm in-app, push and webhook delivery each fire, arrive once, and carry the correct pair and threshold
• Reconcile displayed price, spread and 24h move against an independent outside source before trusting them
• Verify alerts set by hand and alerts requested through NEXUS produce identical, correct results
• File every defect as a reproducible report with exact steps and add a regression test that guards the fix

What you bring

• Hands-on experience testing real-time, data-heavy web apps on live production surfaces
• Rigor in reconciling on-screen numbers against external references and spotting off-by-one or stale values
• Skill writing clear reproduction steps and automated regression tests
• Comfort testing delivery across in-app, push and webhook channels, including verifying non-expiring alerts persist
