You build Best Rate Check end to end: a Python and FastAPI backend that aggregates every DEX pool for a token, a vanilla JS frontend that shows price per venue, liquidity, spread and estimated impact, and real-time WebSocket updates as markets move. You also expose the comparison to AI agents through API and MCP.

What you'll do

• Build backend services that gather every DEX pool for a token and compute price, liquidity, spread and estimated impact
• Implement the vanilla JS frontend that renders the per-venue comparison and best-to-worst ranking
• Stream live price and liquidity changes to the client over WebSocket without double-updating
• Expose the pool comparison to AI agents via clean API and MCP interfaces
• Handle missing, stale or thin-pool data with fail-closed, correct-by-construction behavior

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills plus vanilla JS frontend experience
• Experience building real-time WebSocket data flows for financial or market data
• Understanding of DEX pools and how price, liquidity, spread and price impact are computed
• Ability to design API and MCP surfaces that AI agents can consume reliably
