AI Product Engineer — Event Cover
You build Event Cover end to end — the FastAPI backend, vanilla JS frontend and real-time WebSocket feeds that power live share price, index level and on-chain settlement of an event card's bear side. You also wire the app into AI agents via API and MCP so agents can hedge event fallout programmatically.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK
What you'll do
- Build features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend for taking the bear side of a live event card
- Deliver real-time share price and index level over WebSocket with a single source of truth
- Implement on-chain settlement paths and verify displayed values against confirmed transactions
- Expose the app to AI agents through clean API and MCP endpoints
- Own reliability of the live data pipeline from event card to settlement
What you bring
- Strong Python/FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend skills
- Experience with real-time WebSocket data for live financial displays
- Comfortable integrating on-chain settlement and verifying values against chain state
- Able to design and ship API/MCP surfaces that AI agents consume
