QA Engineer / Tester — Event Cover

You test Event Cover end to end on the live site exactly as a brand-new user would, taking the bear side of a live event card and following it through to on-chain settlement. You reconcile every number the app shows — live share price, index level, settlement values — against an independent outside source, and turn each defect into a reproducible report plus a regression test.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Run the full new-user path against the live site: open a live event card, take the bear/hedge side, and confirm settlement resolves on-chain
• Reconcile displayed share price, index level and settlement amounts against an independent external source of truth
• Verify on-chain settlement matches what the card displayed, tracing each value to its confirmed transaction
• File every defect as a step-by-step reproducible report with expected vs actual and the exact numbers involved
• Add a regression test for each confirmed defect so it cannot silently return

What you bring

• Hands-on experience testing live financial or trading interfaces where displayed numbers must be exact
• Able to independently verify on-chain settlement and index values against external references
• Writes precise, reproducible bug reports and automated regression tests
• Strong numerical reconciliation instinct — treats any mismatch as a defect until proven otherwise
