AI Product Engineer — AI Analyst Reports — M&A ripples

You build the M&A ripple reports app end to end, from the backend that assembles deals, picked positions, and SEC-filing citations to the frontend readers use. You wire the reports into AI agents so they can pull the same deal-to-position analysis programmatically.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build backend features that connect reported M&A deals to the engine's picked positions and filing sources
• Build the reader frontend in vanilla JavaScript with real-time data updates over WebSockets
• Expose reports to AI agents through a clean API and agent-callable interface
• Ensure every displayed number and citation traces back to its SEC filing source
• Handle loading, empty, and failure paths so reports degrade gracefully

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend experience
• Vanilla JavaScript frontend skills with real-time WebSocket data
• Experience exposing features to AI agents via API and agent tooling
• Care for correctness when surfacing sourced financial data
