QA Engineer / Tester — AI Analyst Reports — M&A ripples

You test the M&A ripple reports app end to end on the live site as a brand-new visitor would, opening reports and following each M&A deal through to the positions the engine picked. You reconcile every figure and cited filing against the original SEC filing, then turn each defect into a reproducible report backed by a regression test.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Walk the full public flow: find a report, open it, and trace each M&A deal to its named positions and filing sources
• Reconcile every number and citation in a report against the underlying SEC filing
• Write reproducible defect reports with exact steps, expected versus actual, and evidence
• Add a regression test for each confirmed defect so it cannot silently return
• Verify empty, loading, and error states render correctly on desktop and mobile

What you bring

• Hands-on experience testing live web apps as an end user, not just via unit tests
• Comfort reading SEC filings and reconciling reported figures to a source of truth
• Rigor in producing minimal, reproducible steps and clear expected-versus-actual writeups
• Ability to write automated regression tests that pin fixed behavior
