AI Product Engineer — Market Analyst Research Report (MARR)

You build MARR's features end to end, from a Python and FastAPI backend that assembles sourced reports from filings, token records, live prices, catalysts and risks, to a vanilla JavaScript frontend with real-time data over WebSocket. You also expose the app to AI agents through an API and MCP integration.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build backend endpoints that assemble sourced reports for any stock or coin symbol
• Implement vanilla JavaScript frontend views with real-time price updates over WebSocket
• Integrate live price, filings or token-record, catalyst and risk sources into each report
• Expose MARR to AI agents via API and MCP so agents can request reports
• Handle invalid symbols and source failures with fail-closed, accurate responses

What you bring

• Proficiency with Python and FastAPI backend development
• Solid vanilla JavaScript and real-time WebSocket frontend experience
• Experience wiring apps to AI agents through APIs and MCP
• Ability to integrate and reconcile live market and filings data
• Care for correctness and graceful failure in financial data paths
