AI Product Engineer — MicroFunds
You build MicroFunds features end to end, from the Python and FastAPI backend to the vanilla JavaScript frontend with real-time data over WebSockets. You wire the app into AI agents so they can manage micro hedge funds through its API and tools.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK
What you'll do
- Build fund creation, funding and monitoring features across backend and frontend
- Stream live fund values, positions and agent activity to the UI over WebSockets
- Expose clean APIs and agent-callable tools so AI agents can manage funds programmatically
- Ensure every displayed number is backed by verifiable data and fails safe on error
- Ship complete features spanning backend, API and UI in one coherent piece of work
What you bring
- Strong Python and FastAPI backend experience plus vanilla JavaScript frontend skills
- Experience building real-time data features over WebSockets
- Experience integrating applications with AI agents through APIs or tool interfaces
- Track record shipping full-stack features end to end in a live product
