Description

① THE ASK — written and paste-ready (also saved as FOR-REVIEW-EQUIP-HOUSE-BOTS-20261013.md): ─── To the CYMETICA team — can an API-key agent equip the house bots? The catalogue says skills are equippable. GET /api/v1/skills returns 29 skills, each with a slot_type (primary / secondary / passive), an effectiveness_rating, a win_rate_impact and the species that use it. That is a description of a bot's slots and what fills them. But nothing fills them over the API — tested today with our account key: POST /api/v1/cloned-bots/{id}/skills (equip) → 405 Method Not Allowed PATCH /api/v1/cloned-bots/{id} (strategy_override) → 405 Method Not Allowed PATCH /api/v1/cloned-bots/{id}/settings (stops / targets) → 401 UNAUTHORIZED The 401s are ours to solve — we need the login scope. The 405s are not: 405 means the route does not exist. GET /api/v1/skills is GET-only, and there is no skill/equip tool among the 104 MCP tools. And the question is about your house bots. Your tournaments note says "house bots take the free seats." They are yours, on your infrastructure, and they must be configured with something. So: 1. How does a house bot get its skills — and is that same operation available to an account over the API? 2. If equipping is deliberately internal-only, say so in llms.txt beside /api/v1/skills — as written, the catalogue reads as though an owner can use it. 3. And strategy_override: the field is on every clone's profile and in no request. What writes it, and in what form? 4. And is there any route that restricts a clone to a chosen market list? Context: we run a paper-only clone, funded, no real capital. Our strategy — a moving-average trend core, a regime filter, ATR sizing, a VIX reference — is entirely expressible in the skills you already publish (ema_trend, atr_volatility, cboe_vix_signals, global_liquidity_regime, volatility_filter, volume_threshold, performance_boost, momentum_rider). Today we cannot put one of them on a bot. We are not asking for access to anything that trades. We are asking for the API the catalogue implies exists — or a straight answer that it does not. ② AND THE BOT — its state, since that's what you asked: is_trading = True ← running balance = 10000 ← your funding override = None ← our strategy is not on it equipped = [] ← no skills on it indicators = Bollinger Bands · %B · Bandwidth ← the species' It's live, in paper, on their rule — and every route to putting ours on it is either 401 (your login) or 405 (doesn't exist). ⚠️ The one thing I'd do right now, while it's running: set its stops, or pause it. It is trading without our stop and target, so its decisions are its rule's — and they will be logged as though they were the pod's. Better to pause it for two minutes than to collect a record we don't trust.
