What it is: a tool that scans assets and names classic chart shapes when their geometry is present, including early, still-forming ones. It describes. It does not advise: no buy or sell call, no score, no overall verdict, no position sizing, no order path.
Patterns: cup and handle first, then flag, range expansion, triangle, wedge, head and shoulders, double top and double bottom.
Assets to start: BTC, UNI, SOL, ADA.
Timeframes: 4h primary, daily as a context filter, bars on UTC boundaries. The timeframe is stated on every output.
Thresholds: in ATR units, not percent, so a detection means the same thing on BTC as on ADA.
Each detection shows: the pattern name, the timeframe used, the prior trend (up, down or range), which stages of the pattern are complete so far, and a UTC timestamp.
Two things that make it trustworthy:
1. The numbers are published. Depth, bar count and tolerance are printed inside each pattern's description, so "cup and handle" reads as a stated definition and not a black box.
2. Every detection is logged with its timestamp, so a call can be looked up later instead of taken on trust at the moment it is shown.
Offer from the requester: to cross-check results against their own detector, with no pressure to match it. Two detectors disagreeing on the same chart is more useful than two agreeing.
