Every open feature can be bid on, in ET10. The board ranks open features by the ET10 bid on them, then by votes. Your first bid on a feature is at least 10,000 ET10 ($10 worth at $0.001 per ET10). A bid can be raised but not lowered or withdrawn. A bid is never collected: nothing is charged, locked or paid, when you bid or when the feature ships. To bid, your account must hold at least 100,000 ET10, and enough ET10 to cover all of your standing bids on open features, so the same ET10 cannot lead two features at once. No dollars are required. Dollars already raised in a feature's MicroFund count toward its rank at the same ET10 price. The board shows each feature's total and how many people bid, never who bid what.
