Description
Proposed by @joebottrader.
"I noticed you've recently updated the search bar at the top of the exchange — a solid improvement. Building on that, a more structured category navigation could make the experience even stronger. A Favorites section would let traders quickly save and access their most-used assets, while the other tabs (All, Perps, Spot, Crypto, etc.) would allow instant filtering by category. This would save a lot of time compared to scrolling through long lists of markets, helping users find what they need faster and trade more efficiently."
Proposed layout (from Joe's mockup, in the QA/Bug Reports thread):
• Top row = MARKET TYPE: Favorites, All, Perps, Spot, Crypto, Tradfi, Prediction Markets, Trending, Pre-launch.
• Second row = SECTOR within that type: AI, DeFi, Gaming, Layer 1, Layer 2, Meme (so "Crypto → AI" or "Crypto → Layer 2" narrows the universe before you type).
• Free-text box underneath for symbol/name once the category is set.
• FAVORITES TAB: one-tap access to your regularly-traded assets — pin your regulars and jump straight to the book.
Why it matters: a flat search bar stops scaling as the platform lists hundreds of markets; scoped discovery + favorites makes finding assets far faster for both new and power traders.
